5 things to watch as Spurs battle the Knicks for NBA Cup glory

Can the Spurs keep it rolling to capture their first NBA Cup championship in Las Vegas?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (18-7) will take on the New York Knicks (18-7) in the 2025 NBA Cup Finals, the Silver & Black’s first trip to the title game of the in-season tournament, which debuted in 2023.

This will be the first game between the two teams since the Knicks overpowered the Spurs on a marquee Christmas Day matchup last year, despite Victor Wembanyama’s monster 42-point performance. It remains to be seen if he’ll start Tuesday night or if he’ll come off the bench once again.

The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. CT on Amazon Prime. Here’s what to keep an eye on.
