Upon arrival, officials said they found the baby girl not breathing and performed CPR for almost an hour before she lost her life.
SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office says a 6-month-old girl has tragically died at a local daycare center.
Around 2:45 p.m., BCSO responded to the Kid Kountry Early Learning Center located on the 11700 block of Donop Road after receiving reports of a injured child.
Upon arrival, officials said a 6-month-old child was not breathing and medical personnel was on the scene performing CPR for almost an hour attempting to save her life.
Despite their efforts, officials said the girl did not survive.
Investigators told KENS 5 they did not see obvious signs of injury, but are handling this as a potential crime until evidence proves otherwise.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
