Authorities say Mia Moore’s father hasn’t seen her in months. Her mother is wanted for alleged interference in a custodial matter.
SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County authorities say they’re looking for a 7-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen in months, as well as the child’s mother for allegedly interfering in a custody battle.
Mia Moore has been missing since March, which is the last time her father has seen her, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) said in a Facebook post. Mia stands between 4 foot, 3 inches and 4 feet, 6 inches tall; weighs about 50 pounds; and has brown hair and brown eyes.
“Mia was withdrawn from her school in August and was confirmed to be enrolled in an online program,” BCSO said in the post.
Meanwhile, BCSO says the warrant for Elena Gonzales’ arrest was issued Tuesday. It’s unclear if authorities believe she and Mia may be together.
If you have any information as to Mia or Gonzales’ whereabouts, you’re urged to contact BCSO at (210) 335-6000 or missingpersons@bexar.org.
