75-year-old motorcyclist killed after he was struck by 2 vehicles in San Antonio

As the driver got out to check on the man who was underneath the motorcycle due to the crash, a GMC Terrain crashed into the motorcycle and ran over the man.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department said a 75-year-old man is dead after being struck by two vehicles while riding his motorcycle.

Around 5:45 a.m., SAPD responded to the 1100 block of Wetmore Road after receiving reports of a crash.

Preliminary reports show the 75-year-old man was traveling southbound on Wetmore Road while riding his motorcycle when a truck crashed into him as it was attempting to exit private property. 

As the driver of the truck got out to check on the man who was underneath the motorcycle due to the crash, a GMC Terrain crashed into the motorcycle and ran over the man.

Both of the drivers who crashed into the motorcyclist stayed on the scene and no charges are expected to be filed, according to SAPD.
