
Flights at both DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field are impacted by an equipment issue, according to FAA advisories.
DALLAS — Hundreds of flights are delayed at DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field on Friday afternoon as the Federal Aviation Administration reports an equipment issue impacting both airports.
“The FAA is slowing flights at Dallas Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport due to a reported local telephone company equipment issue that does not involve FAA equipment,” the FAA said in a statement. “The FAA is working with the telephone company to determine the cause.”
The FAA advisories warn travelers to expect delays until 5 p.m.
As of shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday, more than 552 flights had been delayed at DFW Airport and nearly 200 more delayed at Dallas Love Field, according to FlightAware data.
