8 arrested on various charges after terroristic threat made toward Lufkin home

LUFKIN, Texas — Eight people have been arrested after a disturbance on Houston Street in Lufkin on Saturday morning.

A spokesperson for Lufkin PD said officers received a call concerning a terroristic threat in the 1300 block of Houston Street. The caller said she was talking with a woman identified as Brianna Davis about the treatment of a dog.

The caller reported Davis left the scene making comments about “coming back with friends to shoot up the home,” police said.

While patrolling the area, the caller contacted police stating Davis returned to the house and were threatening to shoot up the house and engaging in a fight.

As officers returned to the address, the group left in a white car. Police began pursuing the vehicle to Raguet Street, where multiple officers initiated a traffic stop. During this time another vehicle arrived. Occupants in the vehicle reportedly began yelling.

Officers at the address on Houston Street advised the officers who pursued the vehicle to Raguet that a man identified as Keith Strange was possibly involved and needed to be detained. Strange was in the second vehicle arriving on Raguet.

Three weapons were found across the two vehicles, and all occupants were arrested:

  • Alandria Strange was charged with evading arrest/detention with a vehicle and engaging in organized criminal activity.
  • Nora Jaramillo Strange was charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.
  • Keith Strange was charged with engaging in organized criminal activity plus booked on two warrants from the Angelina County Sheriff’s office for unlawful carrying a weapon and deadly conduct discharging a firearm.
  • Fabian Strange was charged with engaging in criminal activity.
  • Jacquion Daniels was charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, failure to maintain financial responsibility and display expired license plates.
  • Brianna Davis was charged with engaging with organized criminal activity.
  • Jurnee Smith was charged with engaging in criminal activity.
  • Stephanie Jaramillo was charged with engaging in criminal activity and booked on warrants from the Lufkin Police Department for possession of drug paraphernalia and unrestrained child under eight years old.
