Cruise shared a video on social media saying he’s coming to visit Fort Sam Houston ahead of the opening of the “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.”
SAN ANTONIO — Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to go see Tom Cruise when he comes to town!
The Hollywood A-lister and daredevil star of the long-running “Mission: Impossible” franchise shared a video on social media saying he’s coming to visit Fort Sam Houston ahead of the opening of “The Final Reckoning,” the eighth entry in the series.
“On May 22, I’m coming to the great state of Texas, and I’ll be visiting Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio before stopping by some theaters to see you with some of the first screenings of Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning,” Cruise said.
He added he’ll then go on to Dallas to get some barbecue before going to more theaters to say hello to fans.
“From battlefield medicine to strategic support, Fort Sam is where the joint force sharpens its edge, and we are proud to be able to share this vital mission with Ethan Hunt himself!” JBSA said in its own Facebook post.
It appears only a few lucky fans will be able to see Cruise himself during limited-seating screenings of “The Final Reckoning” on May 22. JBSA responded to fans online saying “there will be no tour or public appearances” aside from those screenings.
