SAN ANTONIO – An active SWAT situation has closed a portion of Fredericksburg Road near the Medical Center on Thursday morning.
The situation is taking place in the 7700 block of Pasteur Court, not far from the Fredericksburg Road and Medical Center intersection.

San Antonio police told KSAT that SWAT is heading to the scene of a barricaded person.
That person is behind a Motel 6 Extended Stay, and police are asking nearby residents to stay in their homes.
Additional information is unknown at this time, and KSAT has a crew headed to the scene.
