SAN ANTONIO — Two men are in jail accused of an armed robbery at a north-side game room, but investigators are still looking for two other men police say are also involved.
The robbery happened on September 10 at the Silver Town game room off the 1100 block of Basse Road.
Investigators said it wasn’t just this robbery. The two men arrested are accused in a series of aggravated robberies.
According to an arrest affidavit, detectives listening in to jail calls helped them track down Jarvis Ramsey and Keyshawn Merritt. Police are asking for your help to find the other two.
Masked and armed, investigators say the suspects pistol-whipped a security guard, took her gun and held employees at gunpoint while grabbing cash.
Arrest records say Ramsey let details slip during jail calls, naming a suspect—only known as “KB.”
Detectives followed a trail of evidence and tracked down Keyshawn Merritt, also known as “KB.”
Additional arrest warrants listed charges against Merritt and Ramsey in connection to a separate robbery at a west-side convenience store.
Ramsey is also being accused in two other robberies: one at Ingram Park Mall and the other at a west-side Wal-Mart.
According to an arrest warrant, Ramsey also revealed in a jailhouse interview that Kayleen Stanton worked with him to plot two of the robberies. Ramsey told detectives that Stanton is the mother of his child.
If you know anything about that game room robbery, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers. You could get a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
