AFFIDAVIT: Man arrested after 2 young girls allege years of sexual abuse at Bexar County home

Authorities say 32-year-old Daniel Pina Esparza was arrested on multiple charges related to child sex crimes stemming from claims made by two young female victims.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — A man is behind bars after two young girls made an outcry, alleging they were sexually assaulted over a period of two years at a Bexar County home, according to an arrest affidavit.

Records state 32-year-old Daniel Pina Esparza was arrested on multiple charges related to child sex crimes stemming from claims made by two female victims, ages 9 and 10 at the time of the report.

Investigators say the victims made an outcry that they had been repeatedly sexually assaulted at a residence located on 7200 block of Glen Point in Bexar County, Texas.

Authorities arranged forensic interviews with the two young girls in November 2025, investigators say.

According to the arrest affidavit, during the forensic interview, the now 11-year-old victim disclosed that she and another child were sexually abused. She told investigators that the abuse first occurred when she was 10-years-old.

The victim alleges that she told the suspect, identified as Daniel Pina Esparza, to stop but he did not listen. She indicated that the sexual assaults occurred at the Bexar County home in the suspect’s bedroom and once at an Airbnb in Florida, according to investigators.

Investigators said the forensic interview revealed a pattern of repeated, explicit acts over multiple years with the victim providing detailed descriptions. The other victim corroborated a similar pattern, the affidavit states.

The victim also told investigators she feared the suspect would commit these acts against other children.

Esparza was taken into custody on Wednesday, December 31 on six charges of prohibited sexual conduct, according to arrest records.
