SAN ANTONIO — A Fiesta tradition honoring military service is returning to one of San Antonio’s most iconic landmarks.
U.S. Air Force Day at the Alamo will take place Monday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Alamo, and it’s free and open to the public.
The annual event celebrates the longstanding partnership between the U.S. Air Force and the city of San Antonio, while also recognizing the U.S. Space Force.
Visitors can expect demonstrations from Joint Base San Antonio’s Air Education and Training Command, along with live performances by the U.S. Air Force Band of the West.
Organizers say the event is part of a larger Fiesta tradition, where military members across San Antonio take part in parades, ceremonies and community gatherings throughout the celebration.
For those looking to experience a mix of history, music and military pride, Air Force Day at the Alamo offers a unique way to celebrate Fiesta.
