Alamo Heights Night on ‘pause’ for Fiesta 2026, future plans uncertain

Organizers announced on Tuesday that 2026 Alamo Heights Night has been paused and will not occur on April 17.

SAN ANTONIO — A longtime Fiesta San Antonio tradition will not take place this year.

Organizers announced on Tuesday that the 2026 Alamo Heights Night has been paused and will not occur on April 17.

Alamo Heights Night organizers said details about a future event have not yet been confirmed and will be posted on the event’s website if there are plans move forward.

The event has been a staple of Fiesta San Antonio for decades, bringing together the city’s north side at the University of the Incarnate Word campus year after year. Organizers describe it as a family-friendly outdoor block party featuring food, drinks, entertainment, carnival rides and games.

According to organizers, the event was operated by the Alamo Heights Rotary Club and had been held annually during Fiesta from 1987 through 2025.

Over that time, organizers said the event raised more than $2.4 million that was distributed to charitable causes throughout the San Antonio community.

Information about potential future Alamo Heights Night events will be shared on the event’s website once details are finalized.
