SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating an incident at a local school on the city’s northeast side.
According to SAPD, there is an active scene at IDEA Judson on the 13000 block of Judson Road. Police say there is limited preliminary information available at this time.
School officials have issued the following statement regarding the active incident:
“IDEA Judson is aware of an unconfirmed report of a prohibited item on school grounds. School leaders are working in collaboration with authorities in the investigation. Students and staff are safe, and at this time, there is no evidence of a critical active threat on campus. As this is an ongoing investigation all further questions should be directed to the San Antonio Police Department.”
