AUSTIN, Texas — The alleged suspect in Friday’s homicide at a San Marcos apartment complex has been captured.
According to San Marcos police, officers were called to an apartment complex near River Road around 2:30 p.m.
Police said they believe the suspect and victim knew each other and that the suspect took off following the incident. That suspect was later identified as 47-year-old Juan Manuel Yanez.
After an hourslong search, police reported Yanez was captured in Harris County around 8:20 pm.
