HAMLIN, Texas — An AMBER Alert that was issued Thursday morning has been canceled after the child at the center of the alert was found safe.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the 10-year-old girl was last seen Wednesday around 4 p.m., in the 500 block of NW Avenue G in Hamlin, just northwest of Abilene. She was located safe Thursday morning.
The child was believed to have been with Terry Jeter, 43.
