AMBER Alert discontinued after San Antonio teen found safe, BCSO says

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the 17-year-old reported missing earlier this week was found safe.

SAN ANTONIO — UPDATE: The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said in an update on Friday that the missing 17-year-old was found safe and the AMBER Alert issued after her disappearance has been discontinued.

Bexar County authorities are searching for a missing 17-year-old girl last seen near Historic Market Square Monday morning. An Amber Alert has also been issued for her.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, the girl was last seen in the 1100 block of W Commerce Street around 8 a.m., wearing a blue shirt, jean shorts, and blue Crocs. She does not have a cell phone. 

Authorities describe her as being 5-foot-6 with brown hair, brown eyes and weighs about 130 pounds. She has a tattoo of a Marigold flower with roman numerals on left arm.

Authorities note that anyone who harbors or hides a runaway could face a criminal charges.
