Amber Alert issued for 2 missing children in Dewitt County

An urgent search is underway for two missing children out of Yorktown, not far from San Antonio. The children, according to the Dewitt County Sheriff’s Office, are believed to be in “grave or immediate danger.”

4-year-old Aiydann Ribera and 5-year-old Angel Ribera went missing around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21. According to a statement from the Dewitt County Sheriff’s Office, both children are believed to have been abducted by 24-year-old Julian Ribera. The 4-year-old was last seen wearing a neon yellow shirt, black pants, and black shoes. The 5-year-old was last seen wearing a neon orange shirt and black pants and shoes.

The suspect is believed to be driving a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe with a license plate that reads FVK0342. San Antonio residents are urged to be on the lookout for the young child as the two were reportedly last spotted in the Alamo City.

“Law enforcement officials believe this child to be in grave or immediate danger,” a statement on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children says.

The 5-year-old boy is about 3 feet 5 inches tall and weighs roughly 45 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, according to the Amber Alert issued. The 4-year-old is roughly 3 feet tall with dark hair and eye as well. Julian Ribera also has dark hair and eyes.

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of either child or Julian Ribera is asked to call the Dewitt County Sheriff’s Office at 361-275-5734 or to dial 911.
