AMBER Alert issued for 5-year-old boy out of northwest Houston

DPS said Henderson Calderon Carranza, 5, was last seen at 9 p.m. on Antoine Drive near Birchmont Drive.

An AMBER Alert was issued for a 5-year-old Houston boy who was last seen in northwest Houston on Thursday night, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

DPS said Henderson Calderon Carranza, 5, was last seen at 9 p.m. on Antoine Drive near Birchmont Drive.

Henderson is 3 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 55 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. A description of what he was wearing was not provided.

DPS said the boy was last seen with Jose Calderon Arias, 60. Arias is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Arias’ connection to Henderson was not released.

DPS also released a description of the vehicle – a black Hyundai Sonata. However, a license plate was not released.

The alert comes from the Suffolk County Police Department in New York.
