Amber Alert | K-9s, boats used to search area of Lake Livingston for 11-year-old Audrii Cunningham

Audrii Cunningham was last seen Thursday at about 7 a.m. near her home on Lakeside Drive in Polk County.

LIVINGSTON, Texas — Multiple law enforcement agencies spent much of Friday searching an area of Lake Livingston for a missing 11-year-old girl at the center of an AMBER Alert.

Audrii Cunningham hasn’t been seen since 7 a.m. Thursday. She was last seen near her home on Lakeside Drive near Leisure Lane. She was reported missing after her family said she didn’t get off the school bus Thursday afternoon. Investigators learned she never got on the bus that morning nor did she report to school.

Investigators said they searched the south end of Lake Livingston Friday because they were actively following leads. Boats were seen in the water and law enforcement had K-9 sniffers in the area.

“So there are several different pieces of information that we are looking at,” said Lt. Craig Cummings with the Texas Department of Public Safety. “To say how long we’re going to be here really is difficult to say at this point. I know that we are going to continue this investigation, be here for as long as we need to (be) until we have exhausted all of the leads that we’ve uncovered here.”

Audrii has blonde hair and blue eyes. She’s about 4 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 75 pounds. She was wearing a black hoodie with white lettering, a camo backpack, black pants and black high-top tennis shoes the last time she was seen.

Investigators said they are actively speaking to persons of interest and ask anyone who may have information on Audrii’s disappearance to call either the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at 936-327-6810 or 911. You can also report on iWatchTexas App.

The Texas DPS, Texas Rangers, San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI are all working together to bring Audrii home safely.
