AMBER Alert: Missing 12-year-old last seen in North Texas

Police say Tanya (AKA: “Tay Tay”) was last seen Wednesday morning on Brenna Road.

WAXAHACHIE, Texas — Waxahachie police have issued an AMBER Alert to help find a 12-year-old girl who went missing on Valentine’s Day.

According to officials, Tanya Jackson was last seen at 10 a.m. Wednesday on Brenna Road, near U.S. 287 and Parks School House Road.

Tanya (AKA: “Tay Tay”) is a Black girl who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

There is no information on what she was last seen wearing.

Anyone with information on Tanya’s whereabouts is asked to called Waxahachie police at 469-309-4400.

Jackson was the subject of an AMBER Alert in July 2023. Authorities issued that initial alert on July 14, after Jackson had been classified as a runaway for about a month. She was found the day after the alert was issued, on July 15, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
