Animal Defense League celebrating 91 years with adoption special

There is no charge for adoptions until June 29 in celebration of their 91st birthday.

SAN ANTONIO — The Animal Defense League is celebrating 91 years by offering free adoptions!

In celebration of their birthday, they’ve launched the Paw-looza adoption special.

It’s a birthday bash with wagging tails and purring pals.

From now through Sunday, June 29, all adoption fees are waived for puppies, kittens, dogs and cats.

Every adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, vaccines, a microchip, parasite treatment and a starter bag of food.

If you’re not ready to adopt, fostering is a wonderful way to help.

Visit the ADL’s locations off Nacogdoches or the Paul Jolly campus across from the San Antonio Zoo.

Both are open daily from noon to 7. You can also visit adltexas.org.
