SAN ANTONIO — Arboretum San Antonio gets hit by vandals and now they’re offering a reward to find those responsible.

Arboretum San Antonio said that while this isn’t the first time they’ve been vandalized, it is by far the most damage they’ve ever had.

It happened this past Saturday. In these pictures you can see that someone broke through walls, stole all of their tables and chairs, and destroyed their electrical system by ripping out components and wires.

They also knocked down a security camera and these are just some of the pictures.

Arboretum San Antonio has slowly and steadily been coming to life at the former republic golf course on the southeast side. The plans for the outdoor oasis were revealed just a little over a month ago, with phase one of construction set to begin in 2028.

We have reached out to police to see if they have any leads and are waiting to hear back.

Now the Arboretum is asking for your help and they’re offering a reward for any tips that could help lead them and police to whoever is responsible.

And if you’d like to help get them back on their feet, you can make a donation as well.
