Argument between brothers ends in gunfire in downtown San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – A heated argument between two brothers Friday in downtown San Antonio ended with one of them shot and the other on the run, police said.

Around 11:30 a.m., the siblings were arguing in the parking lot of a methadone treatment facility in the 500 block of East Quincy Street when they got into a fight and one of them opened fire, police said.

The 35-year-old victim was shot once in the upper neck, police said. He was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center San Antonio with a non-life-threatening injury.

Police are looking for his brother, who may have driven away in a rental car.
