It happened at a Wells Fargo ATM located on Austin Highway just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating an armored truck robbery on the northeast side of town Wednesday morning.
San Antonio Police officers were dispatched around 10 a.m. to the Wells Fargo located on the 1500 block of Austin Highway for reports of a robbery in progress.
Police say two armed robbers came from behind the truck and ordered the armored vehicle crew to get on their knees. The suspects got away with an unknown amount of cash.
No one was injured in the incident.
“Always be careful. Always know where all four corners of your vehicle are for people coming up to you. This is a lesson learned for everyone,” SAPD Officer Nicholas Soliz said.
