DLP Home Care’s art auction allows seniors to showcase their creativity, supporting older adults’ independence by funding essential in-home service in San Antonio.
SAN ANTONIO — DLP Home Care is set to host a special art auction to showcase the creativity, resilience and lived experiences of senior citizens.
The event will bring together local artists, art collectors and community advocates with a shared goal of supporting older adults. All proceeds from the auction will benefit DLP Home Care, a nonprofit organization that provides in-home care.
Organizers say the auction is designed to celebrate seniors while raising funds to support services that allow them to remain in their homes with dignity and independence.
“Many seniors wish to remain in their homes but lack the financial resources for essential daily care,” said Teshema Manning, the Director of Home Care. “The nonprofit beneficiary of this auction helps bridge that gap, offering dignity, safety, and independence to vulnerable older adults in our community.”
