Police say drivers are urged to find an alternate route as emergency crews work to clear the scene.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police said crews are responding to a deadly crash involving an 18-wheeler and a mini van that is impacting traffic on the city’s northeast side.
SAFD has confirmed at least one person was killed and possibly two others are critically injured.
Officials said there is a full lane closure at Wetmore Road near Loop 410 and drivers are urged to find an alternate route as emergency crews work to clear the scene.
It is unclear at this time what caused the crash but we are working to gather more information.
