At least 6 injured in North Austin crash

Two of the people involved were sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

AUSTIN, Texas — At least six people are injured after a three-car crash early Saturday morning.

Austin-Travis County EMS said the incident took place at the 8500 block of Cameron Road, near the intersection with Cross Park Drive, in North Austin around 1:50 a.m.

Six ambulances were sent to the crash site.

Two of the people involved were sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Another four people are in the hospital with serious and potentially serious injuries.

The north and southbound lanes of Cameron Road were closed following the crash.
