Attending the Cotton Bowl? Here is what you need to know

Fans with tickets to see Ohio State face the University of Texas at AT&T Stadium on Jan. 10 can bring certain items into the venue.

TEMPLE, Texas — The 2025 CFP Semifinal between University of Texas and Ohio State at the 89th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic at AT&T Stadium is less than a week away. 

UT fans traveling from Central Texas to Arlington, Texas can review what spectators can bring into the stadium to avoid disappointment after a long journey for the Jan. 10 matchup.

The AT&T Stadium Bag Policy states that fans may carry clear bags into the facility. Such bags must be clear tote bags (plastic, vinyl or PVC and cannot exceed 12″ x 6 ” x 12″) or plastic storage bags (must be re-sealable and no more than one gallon).

The policy restricts the following items:

  • All purses, bags, or containers larger than a small clutch bag*
  • Backpacks
  • Binocular case (binoculars may be worn around the neck)
  • Briefcases
  • Camera bags
  • Cinch bags 
  • Computer bags 
  • Coolers
  • Fanny packs
  • Luggage of any kid
  • Seat cushions

*AT&T Stadium allows small clutch purses about the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap and cannot exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″ with or without a strap. Clutch purses may be held individually or within an approved plastic bag.
