AUSTIN, Texas — An Austin-based food blogger has been reunited with his pet dog that went missing after his car was stolen last week.
In an Instagram post, Taylor Hannon said that he has been reunited with his dog Noodles, and that the dog was getting fluids and X-rays after being found.
“THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO SPENT TIME AND ENERGY AND RESOURCES AND SENT GOOD VIBES AND PRAYED,” Hannon wrote on Instagram Thursday. “Special thank you to @hankdatank412 for daily videos I was too sad to make, and @thetraprs for the support and work and coordination and connections, and my buddy @marcoeatsthings who basically spent 6 days with me in a car or a restaurant 🫶 Thank you to everyone who helped search and hang up posters and shared these posts — I will try to answer questions as they come in but NOODS IS BACK and he has no idea how loved he is ❤️”
On the morning of July 25, Hannon was packing to go on a road trip with Noodles when his car was stolen with Noodles inside. His car was found the next day about 20 miles east on State Highway 71, but Noodles was nowhere to be found.
He held a search party Sunday morning that started around St. Elmo Elementary, with volunteers looking all over South and East Austin. Hannon and his followers continued the search for Noodles into the week.
Hannon did not reveal where Noodles was found, but he said in his Instagram post that more details would be revealed on Friday.
