For the barn cats, fosters should have a large, warm space for shelter, such as a warehouse, barn, stable, or garage. The dogs should be kept inside a house or apartment, according to APA.

Through the APA emergency foster form, the shelter is asking that fosters keep their placements from Sunday, January 14, until at least next Thursday, January 18. Other pets in the home are asked to be vaccinated and separated from the foster pets for at least a week.
