
The Austin Spurs secure a playoff seed in the Western Conference after a decisive win over Memphis.
SAN ANTONIO — The Austin Spurs are heading to the NBA G League postseason after a 130-93 win over Memphis on Tuesday night.
In the Western Conference, Austin (21-11) clinched a playoff berth. The Spurs last made the playoffs in 2021.
In their win over Memphis, San Antonio Spurs’ two-way forward Harrison Ingram recorded a triple-double with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Jameer Nelson Jr. led the Spurs with 22 points. Malachi Flynn added 19 points, while Kyle Mangas and David Duke Jr. had 17. Kyle Rode finished with 12.

The Spurs shot 52.7% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc in the second half to maintain their lead and punch their ticket to the postseason.
Austin has been winning lately. The Spurs are on a two-game winning streak, are 3-1 in their last four outings, and are 12-5 at home. The team also boasts the best point differential in the West, currently at 11.9.
Austin has two more road games to close the regular season at Memphis and Texas before the playoffs begin.
