Guadalupe Sheriff’s deputies say a driver lost control of his cement truck while driving along Highway 46.
SEGUIN, Texas — The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office is responding to an overturned cement truck that has shut down a portion of Highway 46.
Both northbound lanes of Highway 46 between Cordova Road and Link Road are closed, and authorities are urging motorists to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
The truck’s operator was temporarily trapped inside the vehicle but was safely freed by first responders, officials said. The driver was evaluated on the scene by EMS personnel and declined to be transported to a local hospital. No fatalities or serious injuries have been confirmed.
Deputies remain at the scene to assist with traffic control and ensure public safety. The sheriff’s office said updates will be released as more information becomes available.
