Authorities searching for 21-year-old accused of sexually assaulting child at hospital near San Antonio

During the investigation, detectives were able to confirm the sexual assault had taken place through “electronic evidence.”

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man accused of sexually assaulting a child at a local hospital.

On April 28, BCSO Child Safe investigators responded to Northeast Methodist Hospital after receiving reports of a sexual assault, which was initially reported by the Live Oak Police Department.

A juvenile reportedly told authorities that on April 26, Rolando Tello, 21, had assaulted her.

During the investigation, detectives were able to confirm the sexual assault had taken place through “electronic evidence.”

The victim told detectives she had met Tello through Instagram and had been in communication with him before they exchanged phone numbers.

Authorities said when they filed an arrest warrant and went to his residence, it was discovered Tello had “fled to evade law enforcement.”

Anyone with information on Tello’s whereabouts is urged to contact BCSO by calling 210-335-6000 or email BCSOTIPS@bexar.org.
