DALLAS — Cooper Rush has agreed to a two-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.
The deal, worth $12.2 million, marks an end to Rush’s seven-year stint with the Cowboys, with only a brief lapse when he shortly signed on with the New York Giants in 2020 before returning later in the same year.
Rush will play as a backup quarterback to the Raven’s longtime quarterback Lamar Jackson. Rush’s departure means Trey Lance will be the Cowboys’ sole backup quarterback until they can find a replacement.
