SAN ANTONIO — A 3-year-old is now dead after officials say she entered a far north-side pool without a life vest.
BCSO was called to a home in the 300 block of Pleasant Knoll around 6:22 p.m. Saturday for a report of a drowning involving a child.
Despite life-saving measures taken by witnesses and officials, the child was pronounced dead around 7:44 p.m. at a local hospital.
Investigators found out that the child was at a birthday party where she was playing with other children before getting into the pool without a life vest.
Right now, there are no criminal elements to this case.
