
Deputies executed a search warrant at the South Alamo address and found the illegal drugs worth approximately $185K.
SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a major drug bust on the south side earlier this week.
Deputies served a search warrant on September 2 at a home off South Alamo Street and found a large amount of drugs a what they say was “drug money.
Deputies say they seized nearly 74 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of approximately $185,000.
Investigators tell us they first spotted Juan Gonzales leaving the home with a large trash bag. And when he dropped it, deputies say marijuana spilled out from inside the bag.
Inside the home, deputies say they discovered more boxes of packaged drugs and over $8,400 in cash.
Gonzales was arrested and booked into the Bexar County Jail on drug possession charges.
