BCSO investigates suspicious death of horse found dumped at far south-side property

Investigators are looking for the owner of the horse of those responsible.

SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is looking into a suspicious death of a horse and they need your help.

Deputies responded to a disturbing animal cruelty case on Friday morning after a caller reported finding a dead horse near the front entry of a property on the 2100 block of Goeth Road in the far south side.

Investigators say the horse’s hind legs had been bound together and also attached to a post of the gate. 

It is believed the horse died at another location and was dumped. Investigators are looking for the owner of the horse of those responsible.
