BCSO: Man dies after being found shot multiple times in northeast-side neighborhood

When deputies arrived at the scene they found the 39-year-old victim lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

Bexar County authorities believe they’re looking for multiple suspects after responding to a northeast-side neighborhood and finding a man “with multiple gunshot wounds’ lying on the ground next to his car.

Deputies with the sheriff’s office arrived to the 6800 block of Oldham Drive just before 9 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. 

Authorities began performing lifesaving measures on the 39-year-old victim, who hasn’t been identified. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

Witnesses told officials they saw multiple people running away following the shooting. A juvenile was detained nearby and questioned, however, an arrest was not made as the investigation remains ongoing. 

No information on the suspects has been provided. 

Investigators are asking anyone with any information on who the suspects responsible for this shooting might be to call BCSO at (210) 335-6000, email BCSOTIPS@bexar.org, or call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP as a possible reward of up to $5,000.00 may be rewarded to tipsters that provide information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect(s) involved.
