BCSO: Man fires shots at Alamo Ranch-area bar after credit card was declined

24-year-old Michael Alexander Garcia has been charged with aggravated robbery and deadly conduct.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — A man has been accused of opening fire at an Alamo Ranch-area bar after his credit cards were declined.

On Friday, BCSO were called to a shooting at an unspecified bar in the Alamo Ranch area. After some investigation, deputies found out that 24-year-old Michael Alexander Garcia’s credit card got declined. While fleeing the scene in his vehicle, officials say he allegedly started firing shots on the building and a crowded patio. A security guard at the bar returned fire, and nobody was injured.

Deputies were eventually able to track down the vehicle to a garage at a nearby home.

Garcia was positively identified by witnesses and charged with aggravated robbery and deadly conduct.

Jail records show that he has posted his $150,000 bond.
