BCSO: Man in custody after leading deputies on short foot pursuit near downtown area

A man identified as Raymond Gonzales, 25, was wanted on two warrants.

SAN ANTONIO — A man is in custody after leading Bexar County sheriff’s deputies on a short foot pursuit Wednesday afternoon, authorities say. 

A man identified as Raymond Gonzales, 25, was wanted on two warrants. 

Gonzales was detained by deputies after leading them on a brief foot pursuit near the downtown area. It is unclear what led to the pursuit. 

According to BCSO, tasers were used on Gonzales to help stop him along with assistance from a K9 officer. 

Gonzales is in custody and is set to be transported to the Bexar County jail. 

No other information was provided.
