SAN ANTONIO — A suspect in a road rage shooting that happened on Friday has been arrested, officials say.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office says that Sean Anthony Samaniego, 34, is linked to a shooting that occurred on March 7 at Valero Gas Station located near the intersection of Highway 181 South and East Loop 1604 South.
BCSO deputies found a man at the location with a gunshot wound who later died. Witnesses told deputies they heard two gunshots and then saw a dark truck leaving the location.
According to surveillance video obtained by investigators, the victim arrived in a white sedan and approaching Samaniego’s dark blue Chevy truck, where the shooting occurred.

Samaniego allegedly fled the scene and removed his truck’s trailer to change its appearance following the shooting.
BCSO deputies later found the trailer, and Samaniego confirmed that it was his.
Samaniego was arrested on charges of tampering with evidence related to the murder investigation and booked into the Bexar County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
