SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three people in connection to a stabbing.
On July 18, deputies responded to the Interstate 35 Frontage Road after receiving reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, a man was found in a parked Ford F-150 with several stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
The victim told investigators a man that goes by “JB” was the one who allegedly stabbed him.
Detectives were able to identify the suspect as 18-year-old Johnnathan Blaze Gonzalez and were able to arrest him on the 8000 block of Lucky Road.
BCSO says Gonzales refused to cooperate with authorities not sharing his side of the story.
Gonzalez was booked into the Bexar County Jail where he now faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Further investigation revealed that two individuals, identified as Antonia Hernandez and Jorge Dealpaz, reportedly removed a key witness form the scene, intentionally interfering with the investigation.
The witness texted 911 for help before Hernandez allegedly took the phone, interrupting the message to authorities.
Hernandez and Dealpaz were booked into the Bexar County Jail on tampering with witness charges.
