According to authorities, the child was reunited with their father about an hour after sheriff’s deputies made the discovery.
SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County authorities say a toddler believed to be 2 to 3 years old was reunited with his father an hour after the child was found alone and wearing just a diaper at a northeast-side apartment complex.
Deputies initially responded to the Legends at Kitty Hawk apartments along Kitty Hawk Road, just outside Converse city limits, around 12:52 p.m. Officials with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office say the call “was closed out” at 2:45 p.m. after the child was reunited with their father at 2:02 p.m.
It’s unknown at this point if charges will be filed, but BCSO continues to investigate.
