‘Best of both worlds’ vibes: Hannah Montana 20th anniversary celebrated at San Antonio coffee shop

The hit show “Hannah Montana” premiered March 24, 2006, and quickly turned Miley Stewart into a household name.

SAN ANTONIO — It’s the best of both worlds this Tuesday as the 20th anniversary of “Hannah Montana” is finally here and San Antonio fans are marking the moment.

Bytes Cafe, a local coffee shop on Babcock Road, is offering a special menu this week featuring themed drinks like the “He Could Be the One” vanilla matcha, “Robby Ray’s Loco Hot Cocoa,” “Nobody’s Perfect” latte and “Malibu Sunset” lemonade, plus “Cheese Jerky,” a solo charcuterie.

The northwest-side coffee shop will also host an anniversary watch party Tuesday, March 24 at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. so guests can grab their seats early. There will also be activities like a bracelet-making table, and BYOB is allowed.

Miley Cyrus starred as the lead, alongside Emily Osment, who played Lilly Truscott and her alter ego, Lola Luftnagle; Jason Earles, who played Miley’s brother, Jackson; and Billy Ray Cyrus, who played the family patriarch, Robby Ray Stewart.

Many of the actors reunited at the Los Angeles premiere of the “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” on Monday at the El Capitan Theatre.

The shop will also offer its regular drink menu, sandwiches and a variety of desserts. Bytes Cafe routinely hosts watch parties and creates themed drinks based on popular shows, movies and characters.

Bytes Cafe is run by the Ramos family and close friends, with Mari Ramos at the helm.
