SAN ANTONIO — A 9-year-old Bexar County girl was targeted by a man who authorities say “exposed his genitals” to the child in broad daylight on the far west side.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) said in a Facebook post that it’s now looking for the suspect, believed to have been driving a yellow car when he allegedly committed the act and tried to chase the girl in the 4600 block of Jesse Bowman Street. She was walking to a friend’s house after school at the time.
“(The) child managed to evade the suspect by running inside a house,” BCSO said in the post, though it’s unclear when the incident occurred.
Video accompanying the post only briefly shows the car in question driving through a neighborhood.
The agency said the Northside ISD was notified of the incident.
If you have any information about the incident or recognize the yellow car in the footage shared by BCSO, you’re urged to contact the agency at (210) 335-6000 or bcsotips@bexar.org.
