Bexar County deputies searching for missing 15-year-old girl

Authorities say the teen was last seen overnight and are urging the public to come forward with information.

SAN ANTONIO — Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager last seen on San Antonio’s west side.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, 15-year-old Layla Rudolph was last seen around 12 a.m. Monday in the 7700 block of Fern Pass.

Layla is described as a Black female, about 5 feet tall and 110 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black romper and a blue jean jacket. Authorities say she also has noticeable discoloration on her neck.

Investigators say anyone who may be harboring or hiding Layla could face criminal charges.

Deputies have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, but say the search is ongoing.
