Bexar County deputies seek suspect in bold truck theft

The suspect was last seen running away on foot into the heavy brush area from the Luckey Ranch subdivision, deputies say.

SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a male suspect accused of stealing a pickup truck Monday morning on the southwest side of town.

BCSO says it happened in the 7200 block of Duck Pond. Deputies say the man fired shots at the homeowner who was chasing him after the theft of his truck.

The victim could not give deputies a good description of the suspect, but he was last seen running off into the heavy brush area near the Luckey Ranch subdivision.

Authorities said the truck was recovered and returned to the homeowner on Monday afternoon.
