Bexar County man arrested in federal child exploitation case

According to BCSO, deputies were briefed by the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force regarding a suspect believed to be sharing child sexual abuse material online.

SAN ANTONIO — A Bexar County man is in custody after deputies say he was identified in a federal child exploitation investigation involving the distribution of illegal material through a messaging app.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were briefed on November 20, 2025, by the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force regarding a suspect believed to be sharing child sexual abuse material online. Investigators say the suspect was communicating through a messaging app with a user later identified as  Thomas Lee Teague, a resident of Bexar County.

BCSO reports that a review of the suspect’s account showed messages in which Teague allegedly solicited and received child pornography. Deputies say electronic records and subpoenas confirmed the identity of the messaging username “Tommy.Williams012” as Teague, including associated email accounts and a phone number.

Investigators obtained warrants for Teague and his residence. Just after midnight, deputies executed the warrant and took Teague into custody without incident, the sheriff’s office said.

Teague was arrested on an active warrant related to child pornography and booked into the Bexar County Jail, where he remains held on a $125,000 bond.

In a statement, the sheriff’s office said they were proud of the “diligence and commitment” of investigators, crediting their work with helping protect children and the community.

This case remains under investigation.
