Back on Nov. 11 2024, a man’s decomposing body was found in a grassy area near the San Antonio River. Now, officials need help identifying him.
SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man found near the San Antonio River last year.
On Nov. 11, 2024, San Antonio police were called to the 1900 block of Probandt Street near Concepcion Park for reports of a body found.
Officers on scene said the body was discovered in a grassy area near the river, showing signs of severe decomposition.
The medical examiner described the man as a 6-foot-1 white or Hispanic male approximately 35 to 65 years old. But they need the public’s help identifying him.
Officials have released the following photos of the unidentified man and urge anyone with information to contact the Investigative Section of the Medical examiner’s Office at 210-335-4011.
