Bicyclist injured in suspected hit-and-run on the south-side, SAPD says

Police said a man in his 20s was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made at this time.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was hospitalized after being hit by a car while riding a bicycle on the city’s south side on Wednesday night, according to San Antonio police.

The incident happened around 10:56 p.m. in the 5600 block of South Flores Street.

Police said a man in his 20s was struck by a blue sedan, which then fled the scene. He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
